The 17th Summit of the Francophonie in Armenia

A new opportunity to defend craftsmanship for Constance Fournier

Known for her mastery and transmission of traditional French know-how in the field of model design and sewing, Constance Fournier was invited by HEM Jonathan Lacote, Ambassador of France to Armenia, and the Jasmineo Association to lead a masterclass with a panel of promising young local designers.

The Francophonie Summit will bring together more than 80 delegations in Yerevan on 11 and 12 October, including President Emmanuel Macron. It is a wonderful opportunity to develop the already very privileged Franco-Armenian relations through a secular friendship and a beautiful showcase to promote French-style craftsmanship, of which the Maison Constance Fournier is a fine example.

One of the challenges of this 17th Summit is to defend the rights and empowerment of women and girls. With her wedding dress business, Constance Fournier addresses the young girls who will be the women of tomorrow. His example as an entrepreneur, who claims to be able to flourish at work, to respect traditions and to do a job well for a demanding clientele, is also a message of hope for young girls in Armenia and elsewhere.
Constance Fournier is proud to be the voice of an entire profession. When it comes to transmitting and defending her passion, Constance Fournier never hesitates!

For the past 10 years, Jasmineo (www.jasmineo.com) has been organizing conferences and exhibitions with international institutions to support and preserve traditional craftsmanship: Jasmineo had already promoted Constance Fournier’s dresses in 2013 at the European Parliament in Brussels, then in Geneva in 2016 at the headquarters of WIPO, a specialized UN agency.
